Dogbite with Ken Atkins & The Honky Tonk Kind

Dogbite

Dogbite has been on the New London area music scene for over 20 years, playing clubs, coffee houses, restaurants, cafés and even weddings in and out of the area. A blend of acoustic and electric, obscure and not-so-obscure covers and originals, Dogbite has developed a loyal fan base in the area!

Ken Atkins & The Honky Tonk Kind

Telecasters, accordions, harmonica, steel guitar, bass and drums - they make heartbreak fun! Their sound can be found at the intersection of Austin & Bakersfield. A Twang-centric approach to American Roots Music. Covering Hank (Williams) to Frank (Sinatra) to Johnny Cash and George Jones and a healthy dose of original tunes too.

Career highlights include playing at the 'camp trailer 'live on the air WDVX Knoxville, opening a few times for James Hand, Eilen Jewell (4+), Deadstring Brothers and live onstage with Webb Wilder!

The band has played at the Mandrel Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee as well as a ton of country agricultural fairs in New England. New York City too And they’ve plaved a hunch of venues in and around Austin TX.
